The Tibet Initiative Germany e.V. is committed to the right of self-determination for Tibetan and the protection of human rights in Tibet. We have a non-profit status. With over 60 volunteer groups and contacts as well as close to 2,000 members across the world, we give Tibet a strong Voice.

As a political association, we collect and spread information to explain the situation in Tibet to the public. With actions and campaigns, demonstrations and vigils, we protest against the ongoing oppression of Tibetan. With our FREE ME campaign, we are committed to the freeing of political prisoners. In order to influence the policy of the Chinese Government, we seek contact with decision-makers from politics and business. Therefore, we are active members in the international Tibetan Network and work together closely with our international partner organizations.
