The non-smoking Association Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. is

an organ/entity of self-help for conflict resolution between non-smokers and smokers and for the promotion of non-smoking as well as a non-smoking special interest group

Non-smokers seeking advice and smokers wishing to quit are provided with an office for a personal interview or selection of information material two afternoons a week.

With its information stands, the Non-Smoker Association Berlin is represented on environmental markets, family and neighbourhood festivals, information markets and sports fairs. On behalf of the non-smoker association Berlin, a teacher visits elementary, secondary and vocational schools in order to teach youth about the danger of smoking and passing spoking in an age-appropriate manner. The teacher also encourages them to resist tobacco advertising. Smoke-free events of all kinds create a space for non-smokers and promotes a nicotine-free coexistence.
