NETZ is a non-profit organization that fights for human dignity and against hunger/starvation in Bangladesh. Through partnerships and professionally, NETZ supports the self-help of the population – for nutrition, education and human rights.
Our projects in Bangladesh:
In the program “A long life, enough rice” malnourished families receive starting capital and participate in training. In this way, they generate a permanent income and can provide food, clothing and health as well as the education of their children. Organized in village groups, the women defend themselves against injustice and violence.
Education gives children a future. Therefore, NETZ creates primary schools for children who would’ve been otherwise excluded from education
Human Rights: NETZ fights for the rights of the poorest in villages. On a national level, NETZ works to ensure that human rights activists as well as civil society organizations can work effectively.
Disaster Relief: NETZ helps with food and clothing after a disaster and helps protect people from future flooding.
Through partnerships NETZ connects people from Bangladesh and Germany:
The NETZ Newspaper is a unique information source in German about Bangladesh. It is published four times a year.
With us you will receive vivid material for solidarity actions and teaching.
Volunteering in Bangladesh focuses on development policy and intercultural learning.
Everyone can help: Through action, ideas and donations.
