The Nepal Dialog Forum for Peace and Human Rights is committed to the realization of all universal human rights, effective democratization as well as the establishment of a sustainable peace in Nepal.

The Forum engages in dialogue and advocacy activities with partner organizations and human rights defenders from Nepal on human rights, the rule of law and peacebuilding.

The Forum focuses on:

• Overcoming impunity, both in terms of human rights violations committed during and after the armed conflict

• Equal and unhindered access to constitutional institutions and procedures

• The enforcement of the human right to food

• The implementation of economic, social, cultural, civil and political rights, in particular for “traditionally marginalized groups”

• The effective protection and security of human rights defenders and civil society organizations
