Since 1981 we have stood as a non-governmental organization solidarity on the side of the refugees. We are an independent network of refugee initiatives, individual organizations, counselling centres, parishes and committed individuals.
The office is the interface for networking, information exchange, collegial advice and political lobbying.
We are active in Berlin and cooperate closely with the Refugee Councils of the other federal states and with pro-asylum and with members in the BAG Pro Asylum.
We finance our work through member contributions, donations and project funding.
Support of research projects or awarding contracts to auxiliary persons within the meaning of §57 (1) sentence 2 OA serves the purpose of the foundation; all scientific results, whether from research or other scientific activity, will be published promptly and all events will be accessible to the public.
Support from other institutions, bodies, associations, etc., which serve the purpose of the Foundation, and the either non-profit or public corporations, including awards for special merits in promoting social human rights and participation.
