The Federal Association for Child and Youth Cultural Education e.V. is the professional and umbrella organization for cultural education in Germany.
It is committed to the implementation of all youth rights for the cultural participation, social participation and equitable opportunities for life and education. It has combined the Federal professional associations, federal training centres and provincial associations.
The work of the BKJ is funded by the Federal Ministry for Families, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.
