Über die Veranstaltung

Nine years after the 2017 escalation of violence in Myanmar, hundreds of thousands of Rohingya remain displaced, stateless – and without any prospect of return. An entire generation has grown up in the camps or on the move. Human rights organisations and UN bodies have long spoken of genocide; a ruling by the International Court of Justice is expected in the coming months.

On 25 August 2026, join us for video inputs and a live panel with voices from the Rohingya community in Germany - on statelessness, displacement, and life in exile and in Germany.

Event language: English

Registration is required. Please RSVP to majid.lenz@asienhaus.de
